Carson accepted Christ at the age of six and then received his call to the ministry as a sophomore in high school.  Prior to accepting the position with SABC on April 10, 2011, Carson served as a Youth Leader intern at Fairmont Park Baptist Church in La Porte, Texas where he was ordained to the ministry in March, 2011.  
 

Carson graduated from La Porte High School in 2006 and  the University of Houston Clear Lake in May, 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in History.  He plans to attend the Houston Campus of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in the spring of 2011.
